For so long I've considered it mine; a piece of him he left for me. He told me when he gave it to me that he considered the songs mine, but I think I misunderstood what he meant. I think he meant that the music would connect to me in a way unique to another person who may hear it, and that that connection would be mine alone. I listen to it often.
