Pearl Harbor

Today is the 69th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Please take a moment out of your day to remember those who died in the attack and the many others who were left with holes in their hearts as a result of the attack.

If you're interested in learning more, National Geographic has a comprehensive page dedicated to Pearl Harbor.

Thank you to everyone who died on that fateful day 69 years ago. Thank you to those who keep their memories alive.

  1. You have not only brought to life and light the emotions, pain, joy, sleepless nights, the wondering of the unknown, love, and sacrafices that not only our service men and women give so selfishly to our country, but what the families go through as well. I have read your blog since your brother's death...and there are simply no words to express in any form of comfort to you or your parents, other than to say "thank you" to you and your parents for supporting Shane's decision to serve our country...my husband is in the military...
