  1. This is my memory of Shane. This is everything he was to me. He was brilliant so far beyond his years. I'm glad you posted this here. For so long I've considered it mine; a piece of him he left for me. He told me when he gave it to me that he considered the songs mine, but I think I misunderstood what he meant. I think he meant that the music would connect to me in a way unique to another person who may hear it, and that that connection would be mine alone. I listen to it often. It tells the most beautiful story. Thank you, Beth. This means a great deal to me.
